    Biography

    Johann Georg was born in 1757 in Iptingen.

    He was the son of farmer Adam Rapp and Rosina Berger.[1] He founded the Harmony Society in Iptigen, Ge. Due to religious persecution, the group moved to Pennsylvania, where they created a prosperous and pious communal society, which was later acquired by the Welsh Labor reformer, Robert Owen.

    He passed away in 1847.
