Chandan Kumar, popularly known as 'Chandan', is an Indian Kannada actor who has starred in Kannada cinema and television.

He was born in Mysore, Karnataka.

He was an engineer before starting his career as an actor in 2011. He is presently residing in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Chandan appeared in television soap, Radha Kalyana and portrayed the lead role of Krishna, from 2011 to 2014.

The show was aired on Zee Kannada. He also appeared in soap Lakshmi Baramma; where he portrayed the role of Chandu. From 2012, the show aired on Colors Kannada channel. This serial shot him to fame in an overnight and made him a hugely popular actor in the television industry.

He participated in the reality show "Pyaate Mandi Kadige Bandru".

He got offers for several films which is why he stepped out of the serial halfway. His first movie which got released in 2014 was Parinaya. He appeared in some low-budget films till he got his first big break in the movie, Luv U
